Q2: Will the Montrose VAMC waive the requirements of the VHA Safety Device and Testing Manual? A2: No. Q3: Air permits for emissions are the responsibility of the entity operating/generating the emission, not the owner of the equipment. Please clarify. A3: VA only, not the vendor. Q4: Will the VA change the 9PPM NOx requirement to 30 PPM? A4: No. Q5: Please clarify the size of the Boiler. A5: 800 HP Q6: Will fuel for the rental boiler be furnished by the Government of the Contractor? A6: Government Q7: Confirm intended placement and connection routing if boiler placement is on the south end but connections are at the north end? A7: East side of the plant (end near Boiler 1 near Building 24 hazmat storage area) Q8: What is the required installation and ready for service date? A8: Installation 11/1/2026. Ready for service 12/1/2026. Q9. Is a rental unit rated at about 30ppm NOx on natural gas acceptable for the temporary heating period, given that it is a temporary rental operating under the facility s existing permit? A9. Yes Q10. If 9 ppm NOx is mandatory, will the Government accept a unit fitted with flue gas recirculation (FGR) or selective catalytic reduction (SCR) to meet it, and will any additional time be allowed for delivery? A10. The most important factor is that the vendor make the delivery date, so the 9-ppm cis is not a deal breaker. Q11.
