This Pre-Solicitation Notice is being issued by the United States Army Corps of Engineers - Chicago District to inform interested contractors of the District intent to issue a solicitation for the Section 219 Chesterton Interceptor Rehab, Chesterton, Indiana.****PROJECT INFORMATION: Under the contract, the contractor will be required to provide the following construction services: the construction work includes relining approximately 3,217 linear feet of an existing 48-inch trunk sewer with a 42-inch slipliner pipe (comprising approximately 2,368 linear feet of Base Work and 849 linear feet of Option Work). The work involves specialized insertion pits (using two insertion pits), sewer cleaning, televising, proofing, sliplining, annulus grouting, sewer lateral reinstatement, maintenance of traffic, and temporary erosion and sediment control.
