The proposed contract is for construction services and will include, but is not limited to, the following FAR clauses: 52.246-4 (Inspection of Services - Fixed Price), 52.246-12 (Inspection of Construction), and 52.246-13 (Inspection-Dismantling, Demolition, or Removal of Improvements). Each task order will be reviewed to determine the appropriate contract type, which may include Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP), Time and Materials (T and M), or Firm-Fixed-Price Level of Effort (FFP LOE). However, other codes can apply. | PERIOD AND VALUE: Period of Performance: The initial ordering period will be for five (5) years. The contract will include an option to extend the ordering period for an additional five (5) years. Each task order will have its own specific performance period. Task orders may be performed for up to 12 months beyond the end of the contract ordering period to accommodate the completion of major construction efforts started late in the ordering period.
